FAQ

Is Buddora a monolith or microservices? A modular monolith; services are extracted only when a boundary demonstrably needs independent scaling.

Where is the source of truth? PostgreSQL. Redis is cache only; NATS carries events via the outbox.

How is access controlled? Relationship-based via OpenFGA, always server-side, deny by default. The frontend never decides authorization.

Which domains are implemented today? Far more than this answer used to claim: apps/api/internal/modules holds 52 modules, and eight web portals are deployed. Breadth is not readiness — ROADMAP.md is the only per-domain status worth trusting. See Roadmap.

How is it deployed? Coolify builds every image from source on the deployment host. It is not automatic: there is no webhook, so pushing to main deploys nothing — somebody queues the build by hand. See Deployment.

Does CI run? No. GitHub Actions jobs never start for this project. The gates that actually execute are scripts/verify.sh on a developer's machine and the checks inside each Dockerfile at Coolify build time. See Build and deployment.
